TREC Southwest’s 100 Club

This page is dedicated to our amazing horses who have achieved 100 point on their winter PTV rounds. Who will be the next to join?

Indigo – Sally Ross

Jessie – Emma Wilson

Harvey – Hilary Barnard

Harvey scored 100 points at Bicton in 2011, he had been very close a few times previously, with several 97, 98 and 99 scores (as had his stable mate Rhinefield Impulse). I don’t remember the round now, but can confirm that he has since gone onto score 160 in a summer series competition.

Harvey has been Level 4 British Champion twice, and taken part in numerous European League competitions and represented Great Britain 4 times and World, European and Young Rider Championships.

Harvey is nearly 24 now, but is still fit, well and competing, though his workload has been reduced he won the Level 3 Individual Welsh championshps and Level 3 Pairs at the English Championships in 2017.

Monnigton Showbiz – Yolande Ifold

Double members of the 100 club

Ridden, trained and competed by Yolande Ifold, owned by Mr. M. and Mrs. C. Evans

A small (14.2hh) but very feisty little mare who has excelled at TREC over the last few years. With many impressive performances including:

  • Twice scored 100/100 in an affiliated TREC Winter Open Class
  • Twice won the National TREC Summer Championships as Level 2 Individuals
  • Twice won the trophy for the highest PTV score of the National TREC Summer Championships

Trinny – Jenny Plastow

Smilie – Julie Brand

I hadn’t ever really considered getting 100 points before – especially not on Smilie who has had a kissing spine operation, double stifle operation, staked herself on a gate and nearly killed the vet who tried to sew her back together. A truly unique horse, never does anything in half measures, who got it all together all in one round – and surely proof that anyone can do it with a lot of training and a bit of luck!
